Whether you’re traveling in a small or large group Misty Peaks is definitely tailored for your needs. All 5 rooms have ensuites and we have a disabled equipped bathroom with the 6th bedroom opposite with the necessary amenities. We have smart T. Vs in all bedrooms and the decor simply speaks for itself. Check out our rooms below. Misty Peaks sleeps up to 12 People. The property is still suitable for smaller groups or a couple.
The Space
At Misty Peaks there is No shortage of space , from the Large living area and Dinning there is room for everyone. The Kitchen boostes 2 ovens , a gas hob, full size fridge /freezer and of course a Dishwasher.. cause who wants to be doing dishes when on Holiday. The house is heated with a heat pump which is also used for cooling in the summer.
MistyPeaks Cottage
Misty Peaks Cottage is situated behind the main guesthouse. Its completely separate and is fully self contained with a full kitchen and bathroom , the Cottage has a smart t,v , great heating for the colder months and has a lovey sunny deck for the summer great for those stunning Westcoast sunset views looking towards the west.

Things to do and see in Fox Glacier.
Fox Glacier has lots activities to enjoy. The most popular are the scenic flights with snow landings.At Misty Peaks we can forward book your scenic flight with no Deposit in advance with a great discount for children aged under 13yrs.
Lake Matheson is the Most sort after walk in Fox Glacier , with the stunning view of mount cook and mount Tasman where you can see the mirror reflection on the Lake where you can take amazing Sunset photos or anytime during the day. After your walk there is Matheson Cafe to rest and take in the views while enjoying delishous food from there menu.
The Heli Hike is a 3.5 hour duration with all hiking gear supplied we are happy to forward book this for you as it is heavily booked in the summer Months. We can get your family discount for 2 Aduld and 2 children with no deposit.
Gillespies Beach is a 25min drive from Misty Peaks ,The Beach offers stunning views of the mountains and Tasman Sea. Good for wild life spotting with seals, Penguins and Dolphins. The Beach has a rich history of early European settlement where are area was rich in Gold. you can visit the old gold miners cemetery. Interesting Rock formations and Fossils can be found at low tide.
On the way to Gillespies beach you will pass the Fox Glacier Whaka , also know as Fox Glacier Weheka. There is a view point also know as the peak indicator , There is also the Clear water Creek which is a great spot on a hot day to cool off.
